Helü took part in International Choir Festival Tallinn 2017

Chamber Choir Helü participated in the 15th International Choir Festival Tallinn 2017 and won the 3rd prize at chamber choir’s category.

During two days 31 choirs from seven countries – altogether 1200 singers competed in the Estonia Concert Hall. In addition there were concerts in Tallinn Methodist Church, Niguliste Church, Hopner´s House, Blackheads` House and in several schools. The winner of the Grand Prix of the 15th International Choir Festival Tallinn 2017 was Mixed Choir Maska from Latvia (conductor Jānis Ozols).

The festival was organised by Estonian Choral Association. The artistic director of the festival was  Triin Koch and to the jury belonged:

Heli Jürgenson (Estonia)
Ko Matsushita (Japan)
